Afton Apple Orchard is located in the scenic St. Croix Valley. The 200-acre pumpkin patch not only grows different kinds of pumpkins but also varieties of apples, raspberries, and strawberries. The pumpkin patch is popular for extra-large pumpkins, jack-o-lantern pumpkins, pie pumpkins, and mini pumpkins. The best time to visit would be late September and October.
Eveland Family Farm is an 80-acre site located 30 minutes from Minneapolis, in Andover. The farm offers a real working farm experience when you go pumpkin picking. It also offers several other activities and a variety of animals such as pot-bellied pigs, miniature horses, llamas, and alpacas.
The Emma Krumbee’s Orchard and Farm is located 45 minutes southwest of the Twin Cities, in Belle Plaine, Minnesota. It offers a petting zoo, pick-your-own apples, a corn maze, and more, with a tractor ride to the pumpkin fields to pick your pumpkins.
Peter’s Pumpkin and Carmen’s Corn is located 35 minutes southwest of Minneapolis. You can buy a pumpkin from the stand or pick your own, along with a variety of other hand-picked fruits and vegetables at this wholly harvested pumpkin farm. Free hayrides and face painting are reserved for the weekends.
Lendt’s Pumpkin Patch is a 40+ acre field located in Wyoming, popular for offering the best pumpkin for the least price. When you visit this pumpkin patch, you will be offered garden carts to pick your pumpkins, a corn pit for the kids to enjoy, face painting, and more.
