Ramsey is a suburb in Anoka County, Minnesota, located to the NorthWest of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Its distance from downtown Minneapolis is approximately 22 miles. Once, it had taken awhile for the residents of the suburb to make their way to the city. However, all of that changed with the Northstar Metro Light Rail, which has a station in Ramsey. Thanks to the Northstar Metro Light Rail service, Ramsey residents can now reach Minneapolis within a matter of a short amount of time.

Ramsey used to be a suburb with mostly conventional residents before major developments started to transform the Twin Cities and usher in modernity. Today, the suburb is home to numerous attached & detached townhomes and also single-family homes.
Ramsey has plethora of parks and boasts of numerous open spaces, perfect for people who want to stay in a place that’s close to nature. Ramsey’s education system is quite reputed, with several quality schools in the vicinity, such as Ramsey Elementary School, Anoka High School, and Elk River Senior High School.
All in all, there are over 20 public schools in or near Ramsey, which makes it an ideal suburb to live in if you’ve got kids and are looking for a quiet place to stay but with the advantage of quality education.

Even though Ramsey can’t be compared to the amenities on offer in the Twin Cities, it still has enough to guarantee convenient living. A market area, a gym, and easy access to Highway 10, which has dozens of shopping options, are some of the amenities on offer in the suburb.
